Import data

Argomenti collegati:

Using the "Import data" submenu you can insert new cards from lists created with other programs (eg.) (Outlook, Excel, etc...); for a proper import data must be in format .csv (comma Separated Value or Tab Delimited).

  • export data, as outgoing file type by selecting one of the supported formats (follow the directions in the links on the page above for instructions "step by step")
  • Click on "Browse" and select the file in question
  • Select what type of data you're importing, or new cards will be created in which part of the chronological
  • Select the separator
  • Finally click the button you will load the following window:

It is essential to verify that the exported fields match with fields in Tustena. Otherwise you will have to manually correct each wrong by selecting the appropriate item in the list field.

The option "do not import duplicates" shirks the possibility of transfer in the database fields equal to those already present in such a way as to ensure uniqueness of entries, thereby avoiding homonym errors. Select the boxes for the fields for which you want to exclude duplicate import therefore.

Entry "(cross) owner" serves to assign each of the new tabs introduced to someone that will become the owner: to do this you must modify the file that you are importing by adding the "owner", which should write in each "FirstName LastName" line of the user who will be its card owner column. (Alternately you can operate a field unused database from which you are exporting assignment owners, then the appropriate entry in the list select).

Finally, you can associate one or more categories with new cards (Category) existing, selecting the appropriate boxes.

Once set the options you want to click the button to complete. A new window will appear to confirm the successful import.

Attention! You must have previously created the categories of products in section to import articles from catalog!
